Very informative. I went to a hair restoration place, Bosley Medical I think, probably 16 years ago, the cost would have been $30,000+ and I was midway to balding on the top of my head, but nowhere else. It did look like it worked and without scarring, and they did it over a period of time so that hair didn't appear to others to show up all at once. The big obstacle to me was and is monetary. Still, I wondered why the famous/rich folks don't get them-or perhaps they do, just don't publicize it!

Actually, there are methods like FUE and trichophytic closures that virtually eliminate the visibility of scar tissue.

Actually, there are techniques --like FUE or trichophytic closures-- that virtually eliminate visible scar tissue. Everyone heals differently, but these advances make it possible to have an undetectable result.

a scar is better than a bald head i reckon

i prefer having to keep long hair to cover my scar than being bald and i'm sure 90% of people in this world would prefer that too

Yeah, but most modern-day MALE hair styles involve a close buzz to the back of your hair.If you get a transplant, this will forever expose your scar.I can only see someone who permanently wants long hair, doing this.
